How to clean red wine from your carpet or area rug
Materials that you require: Clean white cloth or paper towels, Baking soda, water
1st: Blot up the area with a clean white cloth or paper towel and add pressure to the area until the cloth comes up dry – do not rub the area this can cause the stain to stay permanently.
2nd: Add a little bit of water to the red wine stain and blot, this will help remove some of the red wine from the carpet.
3rd: If the stain persists apply a baking soda paste, 3 parts baking soda and 1 part water. Apply the paste on to the stain and let it dry before vacuuming it up.
